Leafly has a chat functionality that allows you to contact a customer about their order while the order remains active (not yet completed or canceled).
You can access the chat feature from your Leafly order dashboard, and communicate via real-time messages to customers to ensure a smooth experience.
You can toggle between the menu manager and the order dashboard and still see notifications for new chat messages and new orders, helping you stay on top of fulfilling your customer’s orders. In addition, chat is always visible when viewing an active order!
Please Note: These chat messages do expire/close after 24 hours. If you need to connect with a customer about their order, please use the phone number listed under the Customer Info section of the order.
To send a message, first log into your Leafly Biz Dashboard then follow these steps:
- Click on the 'Orders' option from the left side panel
- Once in the order dashboard, locate the order
- Click on the order
- On the right side of the order details, you will see the 'Order Chat' option
To see messages received from customers, select the ‘orders’ tab. Incoming messages from a customer will appear with a chat bubble icon next to the order when viewing your dashboard:
You can also see notifications for new chat messages and new orders at the top of the page. This notification prompt can be seen when both on your Order Dashboard and your Menu Manager:
