How do you set up the printer?
- Setting up the eatabit printer is a very easy process. Please review this video from their team below:
What is the autoprint feature?
- When Autoprint is enabled, once a Leafly online order is placed, the receipt will print from the device automatically. If this option is not enabled, the staff will need to hit the print button on the device after is makes a loud beeping notification sound. If you want this option changed, please reach out to help@leafly.com.
Help! My Device is not printing.
- If there are any issues with the device not printing, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Confirm that the Eatabit app is downloaded onto the smartphone or tablet
2. Ensure Bluetooth AND Location Services are active on the smartphone/tablet
Make sure no other devices are connected to the phone's/tablet's bluetooth
3. Unplug the Eatabit Printer device from the power
4. Press the 'Down Arrow' button on Eatabit Printer device and keep it depressed
5. Plug the Eatabit Printer device into power
6. When the LCD screen on the Eatabit Printer device reads, "resetting," stop pressing the 'Down Arrow' button
7. Use the Eatabit app on the smartphone to choose the correct WiFi network
8. Use the Eatabit app on the smartphone to enter the WiFi network password.
What does the timer function mean on the Eatabit?
- The minute timer on the device is a feature used by restaurants. It's to signify the current average number of minutes of prep time for food orders. This feature is not used in retail applications or on Leafly. Additionally, this "displayed prep time" feature is not user-configurable.

Help! My printer is no longer printing.
- For the Star TSP printers to print successfully, you will need to be logged in to PrintNode and using the correct credentials.
- To confirm if you are logged in, navigate to the PrintNode application on your computer and ensure you are logged in with the credentials provided to you from your Biz Dashboard. You can find more information here: How-to: set up PrintNode (Windows User) or How-to: set up PrintNode (Mac OS)
How do I open the PrintNode application on my computer?
- The PrintNode application runs in the background while your computer is on. To open, find the PrintNode icon and right-click to access the options.

Why are receipts printed with very small text?
- This can happen when the PrintNode application is on the incorrect engine. To resolve this, navigate to the PrintNode application installed on your computer and open the application.
- After opening up the PrintNode application:
- Select the Printers tab.
- Change your Default Printing Backend from the drop-down.
- Update the engine to the other option found within the drop-down.
