This article is an overview of the Menu Manager feature - Staff Picks.            

 

What are Staff Picks?

Staff Picks are items chosen from your Menu Manager to appear first on your public-facing Leafly menu. These are often your best-selling items or items you wish to call attention to.

Note: Staff picks will only display 18 total, even though multiple can be selected via the Menu Manager. 

 

Below is an example of what these products will look like, on your listing after you choose them to be a staff pick. You can find them under the Staff Favorites section of your listing:

Adding Items to your Staff Picks

To add items to your Staff Picks, you will need to access your Menu Manager, even if you are using a POS integration on Leafly. Staff Pick management is done on an item level. 

  • Once inside your Menu Manager, scroll to search for the item you want to add. 
  • Click on the item to open up the product editing overlay
  • On the product editing overlay, scroll to the Staff pick section. 
  • Check the box if you would like to add this item to the list.
  • After checking the box, click on Save and set active to publish any changes to the menu item immediately.

Finding your Staff Picks in Menu Manager

Once inside your Menu Manager, select the 'Filter' option

Once the Filter side panel opens, click on 'Staff Pick'.

Items that are 'True' are currently selected as your staff pick, and items listed as 'False' have not been added to your staff picks.

Removing items from your Staff Picks

  • Once inside your Menu Manager, scroll to search for the item you want to remove. 
  • Click on the item to open up the product editing overlay
  • On the product editing overlay, scroll to the Staff pick section. 
  • Check the box if you would like to remove this item from the list.
  • After checking the box, click on Save and set active to publish any changes to the menu item immediately.
