With the schedule order feature, you can manage the fulfillment flow of your orders by requiring customers to select a specific delivery time when they place their orders.
Your Leafly listing must have delivery enabled (if applicable to local laws). For more information on how to enable your location, please follow the steps here: Learn More: Adding Leafly online ordering to your location
💡Note: Currently, the option for scheduled orders is only accessible to those who have a menu that is manually managed or to those who have menus connected to Blaze, Dutchie, FlowHub, and Treez POS systems. For menus connected to other POS systems, efforts are underway to make this feature available to you. Keep an eye out for updates!

Enabling Delivery Scheduled Orders
To enable this feature:
- Log into your Leafly Biz Dashboard
- Click the drop-down for Settings
- Select Service Hours
Once inside the Service Hours, head over to the Delivery Tab. Click the Edit button.
At the bottom of the page, flip the toggle to enable. After you turn on your scheduled orders, proceed to the next section to review managing your timeframes.
Selecting your Delivery Windows
After you have enabled scheduled delivery, you will want to select your delivery windows. Selections here will apply to all days scheduled delivery is available. You will use the drop-down under Delivery Window to select your delivery windows.
You can now also configure the number of days in advance that a customer can choose for scheduled delivery during checkout - same day, 1 day, 2 days, or 3 days. This new feature enables retailers to specify how far in advance customers can schedule deliveries.
After selecting your specific timeframe, lead time, and advanced ordering, click the save button at the bottom of the page to apply these changes.
Order Lead Times
The Order Lead Time setting allows you to add extra preparation time before each delivery window. When enabled, this setting prevents customers from placing orders too close to a scheduled delivery window.
To set an order lead time:
-
Use the dropdown menu to select the amount of lead time you want to apply.
-
Options are available in 15-minute increments, up to a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
-
This lead time will apply to all scheduled delivery windows.
-
Advanced Ordering
Retailers using Leafly’s Scheduled Delivery feature can now customize how far in advance customers can place orders! Instead of a fixed 3-day window, you can choose between same-day, 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day advance scheduling—giving you more control over your order flow and operational efficiency.
Order Dashboard Changes (Manually Managed)
If scheduled orders are enabled, you will see some minor changes as soon as you open your Order Dashboard. Any delivery order that the customer has scheduled will now appear with the timeframe in a new column.
In the order details, the delivery timeframe will now be visible when processing an order. This can be found below the Delivery Info:
