Having clear and accurate business hours on Leafly is essential because it ensures customers know exactly when they can visit your dispensary, place online orders, or schedule deliveries, eliminating confusion and missed opportunities. Since Leafly is available 24/7 and customers often use it to plan visits or place orders, displaying up-to-date hours builds trust and prevents frustration when customers show up to a closed store
Moreover, Leafly allows you to set separate store, pickup, and delivery hours to communicate availability for each service, manage expectations, and reduce incoming service requests during off-hours.
Ensuring that your listing hours are accurate and up-to-date is crucial for providing your customers with the information they need to plan their visits or place online orders at your location.

Locating your Service Hours
Updating hours is done within the Settings > Service Hours section of your Leafly Biz Dashboard. Landing on your Service Hours provides you with a main overall read-only view of all your different hours.
To update your hours, log into Leafly Biz Dashboard and follow these steps:
- Select 'Settings' from the left-side panel
- Click on 'Service Hours'
Editing your Hours
Store/Business Hours
Once inside the Service Hours section, navigate to the Store Hours tab. From there, click on the edit button.
This will open up the editing mode:
You can control whether your location is closed or open by utilizing the toggle. If you need to adjust your hours of operation, utilize the drop-down to update your hours.
After making any of these changes, make sure you select the save button at the bottom of the page.
Pickup Hours
Pickup hours inherit your Store Hours, so you are unable to close pickup for a specific day. However, you can change the hours you offer pickup. On this tab, you can also toggle your Pickup pre-order enabled option. When this option is toggled, guests can place pickup orders outside of your business hours. Once inside the Service Hours, navigate to the Pickup Hours tab. From there, click on the edit button. This will open up the editing mode:
To adjust your pickup hours of operation, click on the hour field you need to adjust and utilize the drop-down to update your hours. After making any of these changes, make sure you select the save button at the bottom of the page.
To adjust your Pickup pre-order enabled option, scroll to the bottom and use the toggle to adjust. If you make any changes, make sure you select the save button at the bottom of the page.
Delivery Hours

To set your delivery hours, navigate to the Delivery Hours tab. From there, click on the edit button. This will open up the editing mode:
You can control whether your location offers delivery on certain days by utilizing the toggle. If you need to adjust your hours of operation for delivery, click on the hour field you need to adjust and utilize the drop-down to update your hours. After making any of these changes, make sure you select the save button at the bottom of the page.
As a reminder, you must offer delivery at least 2 days a week.

Special Hours
Special Hours lets you easily customize your store and ordering hours for specific dates, such as holidays, events, or unexpected closures. By overriding your regular schedule, you can keep customers informed and prevent missed orders due to outdated information. Whether you're closing early or extending hours, Special Hours ensures your availability is always accurate. Best of all, once the special date has passed, your hours automatically revert to your regular schedule with no manual updates needed.
To set your special hours, navigate to the Special Hours tab. From there, click on the create new event button. This will open up the editing mode:
You can control the store, pick-up, and delivery hours of the event on this overlay. After making any changes, click on the confirm button.
Store Hours FAQ
How long does it take for hour updates to reflect on Leafly?
- Hour changes can take up to 15 minutes to reflect on your listing.
- If you notice that your changes are not reflecting, please contact help@leafly.com so our Leafly Support Team can assist you further.
Can I toggle the days I offer pickup?
- No, you can adjust the pickup hours (within your store hours) only.
Am I allowed to offer pickup hours outside of my store hours?
- At this time, retailers cannot set their pickup hours outside of their current store hours.
- If you wish to have orders placed outside of your business hours, please enable the Pre-Order option from within the Pickup Hours tab.
- If you attempt to set pickup hours outside of your store hours, you will receive a prompt:
How do I edit or delete upcoming Special Hours that have already been created?
You can easily update or remove Special Hours directly from the Special Hours tab in your Service Hours settings.
To Edit Special Hours:

Click the pencil icon next to the date you'd like to edit. This will open a modal where you can adjust the hours for Store, Pickup, and Delivery (if applicable).

If you only want to revert one service type (e.g., Pickup) back to your standard hours while keeping special hours for the others, click the revert icon next to that service's hours.

⚠️ Important: If you attempt to revert all services back to standard hours in the edit modal, you’ll receive an error. To remove all special hours for that date, use the delete function instead.

Note: You cannot change the date of a special hours event in edit mode. If you need to update the date, delete the event and create a new one for the correct day.

If you want to delete Special Hours, click on the trash can icon below the date of the special hours set. This will revert all of your service hours for that date back to standard hours.
To Delete Special Hours:

Click the trash can icon next to the special hours date.

This will delete the entire special hours event and automatically restore all service hours (Store, Pickup, Delivery) to your default schedule for that day.
Can I schedule special hours for stores that are open past midnight (bar hours)?
- If your store operates with bar hours—meaning you stay open past midnight—there are a few limitations to be aware of when scheduling special hours. Currently, you cannot set special hours for the same day of the week two weeks in a row.
- This is due to the way bar hours are stored and displayed on Leafly. Scheduling back-to-back special hours on the same weekday will break how your store hours appear to customers.
- Example: If you schedule special hours for Friday, June 21 (e.g., open 10am–2am), you’ll need to wait until Sunday, June 23 before setting special hours for Friday, June 28.
- Workaround: We recommend waiting until the day after the first special hours event has ended before scheduling the next one. This ensures your store hours continue to display correctly on the platform. We're actively exploring improvements to support more flexible scheduling in the future.
How does Scheduled Delivery work with Special Hours?
- If your store uses Scheduled Delivery, your existing delivery window settings (such as window length and order limit) will automatically apply to any special delivery hours you set.

Here’s how it works: When you create special hours for Delivery, customers will only be able to schedule deliveries within the special delivery hours you’ve defined for that date.
- Your default scheduled delivery settings—like window length and order limits—will be automatically applied to those special hours. You do not need (and cannot currently) customize these settings for individual dates.
